My Thessaloniki – Macedonia in b&w Photos

I have photographed Thessaloniki from my own visual look, from the eyes of a resident born and raised in the city. Population ranges from 1 – 1,5 million inhabitants in its metropolitan area and is the capital of Macedonia.

My Τhessaloniki also familiarly known as Thessalonica or Salonika is the second largest city in Greece alongside constitues a popular tourist destination worldwide.

In 2013 National Geographic Magazine included Thessaloniki in its top tourist destinations, while in 2014 Financial Times declared Thessaloniki as the best mid-sized European city of the future for human capital and lifestyle.
